Vongola is the best choice if you're traveling with a dog. Its private patio is large, with a table, chairs, and a hammock, and you reach it from both the kitchen and the bedroom, so your dog comes and goes as it pleases. It also has its own entrance from a side lane, giving you complete privacy coming and going.
The car stays just steps away, in the parking area in front of the property.
Fiber wifi, TV with Netflix, screened windows, and laundry service. The trail to the beach is just as easy with a dog.
We're in Playa Chiquita, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, on Costa Rica's southern Caribbean coast. The bus between Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo runs along the main road, and Cocles, Punta Uva, and Manzanillo are a few minutes by car. Just steps away there are restaurants, a mini-market, bike rentals, and a shop renting motorbikes and ATVs and organizing tours. And the beach is a five-minute walk along a natural trail where monkeys and sloths are a common sight.

In front of the property, open air, with security cameras 24 hours a day. It is not covered or gated.
🐾 If you travel with a pet
- Only pets used to living in apartments are accepted.
- It must bring its own bed: it cannot get on the bed or the sofa.
- It cannot be left alone in the apartment. If you go out, take it with you.
- Any damage it causes must be reimbursed.
House rules
- The apartments are for the exclusive use of registered guests.
- No parties or events.
- Smoking inside the apartments is strictly prohibited.
- Quiet hours from 10:00 p.m.
- Any damage caused during the stay is charged to the guest.
