Abaloni is perfect for a couple or for three people traveling together. What everyone enjoys most is the private patio: you step into it straight from the bedroom, and with its table, chairs, and hammock it ends up being another room in the open air.
It sits at one end of the building, in a quiet, tucked-away spot. From the kitchen window you can see the garden, where birds, hummingbirds, and lizards pass through during the day.
It's a single open space, with the third bed integrated into the same room: ideal for family or friends traveling together.

We're in Playa Chiquita, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, on Costa Rica's southern Caribbean coast. The bus between Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo runs along the main road, and Cocles, Punta Uva, and Manzanillo are a few minutes by car. Just steps away there are restaurants, a mini-market, bike rentals, and a shop renting motorbikes and ATVs and organizing tours. And the beach is a five-minute walk along a natural trail where monkeys and sloths are a common sight.
