Conus is made for families with children: the queen bed and the double sofa bed make room for four, and the terrace onto the garden ends up being where everyone sits. Directly above it is a tree the parrots climb to feed in — a show the kids love.
It's a single open space with all four beds in the same room: ideal for keeping the family together.
Being on the ground floor, there are no stairs to climb with strollers or luggage.

We're in Playa Chiquita, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, on Costa Rica's southern Caribbean coast. The bus between Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo runs along the main road, and Cocles, Punta Uva, and Manzanillo are a few minutes by car. Just steps away there are restaurants, a mini-market, bike rentals, and a shop renting motorbikes and ATVs and organizing tours. And the beach is a five-minute walk along a natural trail where monkeys and sloths are a common sight.
