Calilla is an intimate studio for two people looking for quiet on the South Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. It has a queen bed with an orthopaedic mattress, a kitchen equipped with coffee maker and fridge, air conditioning and a TV with Netflix — all in a bright, private space.
The apartment opens onto a tropical garden and a private porch, ideal for morning coffee with the birds. It is a brick, Mediterranean-style building with screened windows, and comes with outdoor parking monitored by security cameras 24 hours a day.
It sits on the main road through Playa Chiquita, the quietest part of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, a 5-minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Restaurants, a supermarket and bike rental are a few steps away, and Punta Uva, Playa Cocles and Manzanillo are very close.
